After causing more than a few Britannian casualties, Zero appeared--in the middle of the ocean, of all places--and declared that all Black Knights were to participate in the Special Administrative Zone of Japan.

The Special Administrative Zone of Japan was quite an announcement, but much less of an accomplishment. The posters have been made, the staff assigned, the living quarters cleaned and restocked. No one has moved in.

There are rumors: that the poorer would-be Japanese do not trust the government, not after last time. That those on track to Honorary Britannianhood refuse to give up their gains. The other royals and nobles whisper of your failure, the implication that the "little princess" is unfit loud and clear. "Remember your role," your regent scolds. There is no word from the Black Knights.

And time stretches on.
